As a parent, you have a lot of titles.

Chief Bottle Washer. Director of Laundry Services. Grocery List Maker.

Making grocery lists is one of the tasks you go through most frequently — as much as 50 to 100 times per year.

Except, mowing the lawn, doing the laundry, cleaning and the other regular processes you tackle just as frequently have all gotten easier over the years; lawn mowers, washing machines and vacuums have come into play.

So how do you make the task of creating a grocery list easier and less time-consuming each week?

Simple. You grab a grocery list maker like the one below that allows you to quickly go through and check things off every time you get ready to food shop.

Just print out this grocery list, check off the things you need to pick up and get going!

I like keeping a paper grocery list but the only way I can be sure that I wouldn’t left it at home is to keep it on my phone instead. Even the most basic phone now allows people to enter notes. Most certainly, a smart phone has made it much easier. I actually would just move items that I have purchased at the end. So, I can just cut and paste them to the beginning when I needed to purchase those again.

I use the app out of milk, I was able to scan my whole pantry and create a pantry list, and also do a seperate grocery list, so now I never say do i need more pasta, I just check my list and when I run out of anything I just scan the empty package and it puts it into the right catagory

We also love the Out of Milk app – esp the syncing feature. I can add an item to the grocery list and it automatically updates to my boyfriend’s phone. If he’s the one who ends up doing the grocery shopping that day, he already has an updated list with him. I can get that “one more thing” I need to remember out of my head, onto a list, forget about it and move on. We love it!
