Save 5% When You Buy an iPad 2 at Toys R Us
iPad2PowerPerks

On Sunday, Apple began selling the iPad 2 at select Toys ‘R’ Us locations across the country. The implication for Apple is intriguing: If they’re selling iPads through Toys ‘R’ Us now, where will they be selling their products in six months? The implication for PerkStreet customers, on the other hand, is just plain exciting.

Why?

PerkStreet is offering 5% PowerPerks on all Toys ‘R’ Us purchases throughout the month of April. It’s a full 5% rebate funded entirely by our company. PerkStreet CEO Dan O’Malley announced today that PerkStreet is happy to honor PowerPerks on iPad 2 purchases at Toys ‘R’ Us through the rest of the month, as well as everything else our customers purchase at Toys ‘R’ Us, either online or in the store.

“PerkStreet takes a lot of pride in being able to offer PowerPerks categories every month so our customers can get bonus cash back on top of the unlimited 1% and 2% they’re already earning,” said O’Malley. “If our customers are willing to go to Toys ‘R’ Us this month to get their new iPads, we’re thrilled to be able to offer 5% cash back on the purchase.”

PerkStreet has been offering 5% PowerPerks on all online and in-store Toys ‘R’ Us purchases all month long, so there will be no formal addition to the April PowerPerks categories at this time. We just wanted to make sure you knew you could grab an iPad knowing we’ll perk you for it!

Remember, Toys ‘R’ Us is only selling the iPad 2 in select stores at specific locations — right now, that’s limited to just 30 states. If you’re thinking about getting an iPad 2 to use solely as an eReader, you might want to check out this blog post we wrote about why it might not be a smart purchase. However, if you’re a PerkStreet customer who’s been wanting an iPad 2 and you were already planning to purchase one, now might be the right time.
