Super Bowl Party Food: Three PerkStreet Favorites

1. Dinner Roll Sliders from The Paupered Chef

Here’s a frugal, time-saving idea we love: Use dinner rolls as the buns for sliders. These sliders make an awesome addition to your Super Bowl party roundup. As a bonus, these are best made with cheaper, fattier ground beef. Delicious for savers of all varieties.

2. Spinach and Artichoke Dip from Food.com

No Super Bowl party food lineup would be complete with out something hot, gooey and cheesy. This spinach artichoke dip from Food.com is wonderful, and chances are you already have most of the ingredients in the freezer and cupboard. To save a little extra dough, consider skipping the expensive pita chips and getting less expensive tortilla chips, or even try making your own bagel chips with day-old bagels.

3. Buffalo Chicken Wings from Esquire

What great Super Bowl party doesn’t have wings? These are a must-have, and this recipe from Esquire is fantastic if you like ‘em hot. It’s from Chef Brian Poe and includes chipotle peppers, garlic paste and a can of cheap beer. The peppers can be a little pricey but not outrageous, and everything else on the list is inexpensive. To really impress, make the bleu cheese dip that’s also included in the full recipe.
